Woice is an async voice messenger with automatic transcriptions for global remote teams. A communication tool that doesn’t try to dictate your schedule for you. Maintaining good time management when dealing with an irregular, unpredictable workload is vital to a freelancer. Woice is designed to reduce the chaos of dealing with multiple clients, allowing you to dedicate time to getting things done. A simple solution for teams that are relying on voice messages but have a need to transcribe all their communication so they can easily search it in the future.
The biggest challenge was recognizing important features to build an MVP. Constant user feedback helped to create a coherent set that works with their supports work-life balance instead of crushing it. We also needed a secure and efficient way of sending those messages and creating a list of possible ideas on how are we actually going to be building this. A lot of edge cases required special attention when creating a final product to serve all user types and create a differentiation between admins of communities and regular members.
The goal was to create a solution for nimble global remote teams that work in different time zones and are using a lot of voice messages or want to eliminate the need for standup meetings. Incorporate flows and patterns people already know and upgrade them with useful information from the automatic translations that woice has. Nudge people into using voice messages and make sure the primary way of communication is shown visually and that text messages work as a secondary way of communication.
